Chris Barnes

Chris is responsible for timberland operations in New Zealand. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s New Zealand forest operations business where he was responsible for silviculture, engineering, harvesting, distribution, and sales functions.  Chris started his forestry career in silvicultural research in Tasmania before moving into operations and has held senior management roles across Australia and New Zealand involving large scale temperate and subtropical forestry estates.  Chris is a member of the Australian Institute of Directors, the New Zealand Institute of Foresters and is on the Executive Council of the New Zealand Forest Owners Association.
