Matt Bonham

Matt oversees management of North American timberland operations for the firm. Previously, he led both timberland and agriculture operational businesses in North America. Earlier, he served as general manager of Hancock Timber Resource Group’s (HTRG) southern U.S. timberland division and was President of Hancock Forest Management. Prior to joining HTRG, he was president at Soterra, where he developed multiple revenue streams such as a consulting group, a retail pine straw business, a wetlands mitigation bank, and wildlife outfitting. Earlier in his career, Matt held positions of increasing responsibility in timber management at PCA, Georgia-Pacific, The Timber Company, and Plum Creek.
