Manulife Investment Management LaSalle Canada Property Fund Achieve LEED Platinum Certification for Maison Manuvie

TORONTO (June 10, 2022) –Manulife Investment Management LaSalle Canada Property Fund announced today Maison Manuvie has earned the prestigious LEED® Platinum v4.0 certification for Operations and Maintenance. Manulife, which developed the property in 2015 entered a partnership with LaSalle Canada Property Fund (“LCPF” or “the fund”) in 2021. The property is managed by Manulife Investment Management.

LEED Platinum is the highest distinction for sustainable buildings on the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Certification Green Building rating system. The system is recognized globally as an indicator of sustainability achievement and leadership. To achieve LEED Platinum, buildings must receive a high score in key areas that measure environmental impact.

Located in Montreal Financial District, Maison Manuvie, a 485,000-square-foot trophy office asset, boasts exceptional sustainability credentials, including holding a LEED Gold certification C&S. In addition, the property has acquired top tier ENERGY STAR® certification recognized in 2021 by BOMA Quebec’s Energy Challenge Performance Award, 2019 BOMA® BEST certification, Platinum level and BOMA Quebec’s 2021-22 Building of the Year (TOBY) award.
