Jim Hall is President, lead manager of the Mawer EAFE Large Cap Strategy, and leads the investment risk process at Mawer Investment Management Ltd., which he joined in 1997. Prior to focusing full time on his role as Chair and Head of the investment risk management process, Mr. Hall was co-manager of Manulife Global Equity Class, Manulife Global Equity Private Pool, and Manulife Canadian Investment Class.
He received the prestigious Morningstar Equity Fund Manager of the Year in 2010 and the Morningstar Domestic Equity Fund Manager of the Year award in 2015*.
Mr. Hall is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with investment experience since 1994. Before joining Mawer, Mr. Hall was employed by Wood Gundy Inc. in Vancouver from 1994-1997. He has a Master of Business Administration (University of British Columbia) and a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science (University of Toronto).
Mr. Hall is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder with investment experience since 1994. He has a Master of Business Administration obtained from the University of British Columbia, and a Bachelor of Economics and Political Science obtained from the University of Toronto in 1990.
Mr. Hall is a member of the CFA Society Calgary.
